Medical Aspects and First Aid for Cabin Crew
This annual training covers physiological effects of flying, aero-medical aspects and basic first aid. Cabin Crew will learn how to recognise medical situations on board and how to deal with specific in-flight medical emergencies.
Course contents for Cabin Crew (a.o.):
- Physiological effects of flying
- Basic First Aid
- In-flight Medical Emergencies
- Specific equipment such as:
- First Aid oxygen
- First Aid Kit
- Emergency Medical Kit
- Travel Health and Hygiene
- Practical Exercises such as:
- Addressing a sick, injured and unconscious person
- Administering Oxygen
- Bleeding
- Choking (adult and infant)
- Recovery Position
- Rautek Manoeuvre
- CPR (adult and infant)
- Use of an AED

Medical Aspects and First Aid Training for Flight Crew
This training covers instruction on first-aid in general and first-aid relevant to the aircraft type of operation and crew complement, including those situations where no cabin crew is required to be carried.
Course contents for Flight Crew (a.o.):
- Basic First Aid
- Aero -medical topics, including:
- Hypoxia
- Hyperventilation
- Contamination of the skin/eyes by aviation fuel or hydraulic or other fluids;
- Hygiene and food poisoning
- Malaria
- Practical Exercises such as:
- Addressing a sick, injured and unconscious person
- Administering Oxygen
- Bleeding
- Choking
- Recovery Position
- Rautek Manoeuvre
- CPR
- Use of an AED

Part ORO.FC and the Dutch “Oranje Kruis” organisation)
Training Location:
Our training center is located at Eindhoven Airport. However, training also may be conducted in Amsterdam.
Any other preferred location is negotiable, also abroad.

Flexible from only 1 – 12 trainees!
